originally used an ECS motherboard. It was very stable but it had little support and was impossible to overclock. Saw the MAX mobo and fell in love with it, very nice. Just added a digital temp gauge to monitor case temps, for £4.99 off ebay - I couldn't resist it lol.

Bench results:

3Dmark06 - 9139

Counterstrike source (settings max, 1280x1024) - 319.79fps
Company of heroes (settings maxed with high detail) - 120.9fps

your not wrong m8 - just ordered - cold cathode blue tubes, day-glo sata cable, ide uv blue cable and to finish it all off - some Red uv reactive cable ties.

should be good.

How much did all that cost you if you dont mind me asking, i'm slowly getting together some money now and i've been looking at building a computer remarkably close to that.
