Hello Everyone who is willing to help me out!!!

Im pretty new to the whole PC building so my friend who build his computer helped me out, and at first everytging was running pretty OK so i thought of nothing.

But it crashed many times, like many many times. I searched for the problem and my motherboard basically showed me what it was ( i have a ROG strix 570-e ) so the orange led was on so i knew it was sometging with my Ram (Dram) so i tried switching the ram slots but it didnt work, so i tried only one and then the other one, also didnt work, my friend came over and we tried some stuff but also didnt work.

So i thought id go ahead and change the Ram, so the new Ram came i put it and it worked again( as i believed) like 30 minutes later it crashed and i was at my lowest i thought im going to rage but i didnt.

So i am here to get help too why it doesnt want to work.

My Setup:
Motherboard: ROG strix 570-e
Cpu: AMD Ryzen 9 3900x
Gpu: Geforce RTX 2080 (AORUS)
RAM: Hyper X 16gb 3200mhz
Power supply: Coirsair 650 Watt 80+ gold

Please help me

whats your power supply?

did you install your memory modules on proper mobo slots like a2 and b2? Also did you enable in bios any xmp profile for ram?

I did indeed put them on a2 and b2, i will look what i find in my bios for xmp profiles, but could you give me a little more informatian about that xmp profile thing

XMP is basically a set list of speeds and timings that (usually) work out of the box. If it doesn't boot with xmp on, then, well turn it off.

And for. AMD inputting them manually can be much more reliable. My CL-18-22-22-42 XMP runs rock solid manually set to 16-19-19-19-42 and that was just me being random. I went through 3 different kits none ran the XMP profile stable
(it is Intel after all) despite my BIOS literally having an XMP setting. They may call it DOCP and in principle it’s the “same“ it often times is not....

do you or your friend have a diff PSU to try as a while ago i had the same problem with a corsair 750w g+ psu.

i guess you need to test it from the basic, resetting the bios first, then check the ram first, the slot
and since you have changed the ram, it may not the problem. could be from the board itself

Ok

Im trying your timing rn im gonna update you all, i didnt find any xmp tgings in my bios. Only found D.O.C.P

Update: your timing seemed ti be better but not quite it.... maybe i should try a longer or shorter one?

Every set is different and DOCP is AMDs XMP BUT most ram is using Intel XMP my timings work for me but I had a set with those timings using the same ICs so I just thought I would try and see and they worked for ME. There is no “magic number” and AMD is very sensitive to timings. What are the XMP Timings for yours? It would be a good idea to download T Thaiphoon Burner https://www.filehorse.com/download-thaiphoon-burner/
it will give you all the information about your RAM, timings the ICs used etc, some are better than others.

what does the event viewer say?

LOL! Did the event viewer really say "What?"?

Type "event viewer" in the Window Search Bar & run it. It should have some sort of log for things that are running as well as crash logs.
so i opened event viewer and im looking at the log, there are 2 Critical things and a whole bunch of Failures and Warnings.

The 2 critical things are Kernel Power something, and there is something called DriverFrameworks-UserMode.
i have no clue tbh :(

Can you post a screenshot? At that window press the "PrtSc" on your keyboard to take pictures of the event viewer.

Copy and paste the error messages, both of them.

After that clear all messages and run a game that you think will definitely crash the pc. Then look over the logs again after you reboot.

so here are the screenshots of the Event viewer

Quick translation (its german for me)
Warnung = Warning
Kritisch = Critical
Fehler = Failed/failure

p.s if it have to i can set my pc to english for u guys

so just so you know EVERY game i have makes it crash.
in my previous replies you can see the before crash screenshots

it pretty much says its Kernel-Power (Critical) so i probably have to fix that somehow?

not exactly the screenshots I was suggesting.

Here.
Note the navigation on the left.
Select and event ( 1~> )
Read the General tab to get a basic idea of what happened to get that message/error.

My money would be psu. Corsair built a great name but have since traded on that rep, the only great thing going for them today is their RMA service.
