It could be an incompatibility beetween this motherboard and the RAM.
I ran into similar behaviour with an Lanparty X48-T3RS , a Q9450, and a pair of DDR3 PC16000 sticks: the parts were brand new, freshly assembled, but the pc would not boot, no matter what i 'd do.
turned out to be an early version of the bios which didn't cop with my DDR specs.
You can safely assume it's either the RAM or the cpu, and you've got to test both of them outside as soon as you can.
that can be that in my new board, but something happened in my old setup (p5k) that avoided it to post, so I asume that the board wasn´t the problem.
So I'll do that, get some cheap Ram and try it, im also going tomorrow to the store where I bought the CPU and try it on other system.
