Just got an email from SEGA with this

Hopefully this brings the multiplayer campaign to the table and also adds a bunch of fixes as well as new units.

Because I bought Empire Total War. It's an advert they will email to everyone who registered the game or registered on their website.

i could see this coming a thousand miles away, its so obvious that after the american colonisation the next step was to go napoleon, the type of era and units lend itself to a napoleonic era campaign

just like medieval lended itself to a crusades campaign

its going to be a great game im sure now if only i could get the first one to RUN PROPERLY ONLINE!

Its never allowed me to play online ever. Hopefully some new units and apparently they are increasing the graphics quality too, increasing muzzle flash and particle effects from what I hear (well read)

Well i got it when steam had it on sale for $7.50 which pissed a friend of mine to no end lol.

Although i have played it for 191 hours in coop with him but this last game were doing has been a pain in the ass.

It's basically got to the point that coop is a no no as a de-sync or some thing else happens. We have about 12 armys between us and the enemy is coming at us good and hard and has been fun till the last few days.

I beleive it's been coursed by using saves that are not of the host but pretty much guessing but the 3-4 other games we played we only saved when the host had the option.

Then there is another annoying thing that is steam and this game when validating as there is guaranteed to be a file that is replaced and it's the same for the both of us.

I really hope they patch the game again after the Shogun 2 patch comes out and thinking about it i hope thats fixed too this time as that's unplayable in coop as well.
