There is a new Worm, called WM97/Sundor-A out there on the internet which seems quite dangerous. It deletes *.EXE files from your System partition and system directories like Windows, System, System32. It also deletes a whole bunch of *.COM files from other vital directories. All this will surely destroy (almost) any Windows installation. To top things off, it deletes all files from C:\program files, C:\My Documents & and C:\My Shared Folder on certain dates. But as if that is not enough, it does much more with the Windows Registry and Internet Explorer settings, and even changes your clock in Windows. So don't forget to update your Virus definitions before its too late, and don't open unknown email attachements.
