Actually it does and I can easily change those.

I can change "Space" to "(Space)" so word breaks stand out more. Round trip is a problem, especially when it comes to punctuation. It's also stored in a dictionary where the key (character) is indexed, not the values.
1.0.2 uploaded with these changes.

Now turn it into a web service LOL
That would require JavaScript and...ew. :p

Edit: I could multithread it if there is need to.

When I hear web service, I think RESTful web services, not a website with a UI. You don't need a UI or JS to spit out JSON in response to a HTTP request. You can let some front-end person consume your endpoint.

Don't blink or you'll miss it.

I learned the phonetic alphabet decades ago so i could rattle off UNIX commands over the phone to army personnel.

My job is actually closely related to aviation, so I get to hear the NATO alphabet on a daily basis. It's funny how effortlessly it gets the job done in real life - I've had situations with friends and family where the call quality was poor or there was background noise and I had to spell stuff and... it just works, cause that's exactly what it's for. Simply beautiful.

Also, this is obligatory.

Now turn it into a web service LOL

I was literally about to say the same thing :D It's a fun little idea!

That is easier but now it brings up a consistency issue (if you want to go all in, that is).

It would be nice if punctuation is also in parenthesis.

Sample: The quick, brown fox is jumpy, and lazy too.

Instead of this:

Tango Hotel Echo (Space) Quebec Uniform India Charlie Kilo Comma (Space) Bravo Romeo Oscar Whiskey November (Space) Foxtrot Oscar Xray (Space) India Sierra (Space) Juliett Uniform Mike Papa Yankee Comma (Space) Alfa November Delta (Space) Lima Alfa Zulu Yankee (Space) Tango Oscar Oscar Period

It becomes:
Tango Hotel Echo (Space) Quebec Uniform India Charlie Kilo (Comma) (Space) Bravo Romeo Oscar Whiskey November (Space) Foxtrot Oscar Xray (Space) India Sierra (Space) Juliett Uniform Mike Papa Yankee (Comma) (Space) Alfa November Delta Lima Alfa Zulu Yankee (Space) Tango Oscar Oscar (Period)
Without looking.
Well, one of you have spelled Juliett or Juliette wrong. ;)
