First time posting in this section. Im in a clan and we have a guy that is having trouble money wise, He is the lone provider at 22 for himself and his dad so never has the money to upgrade his computer. He is on an old emachine. Dont really remember the specs other then 9400gt and an old crappy dualcore.
Ive gotten some donations from the guys in my clan in the form of a gtx260, C2Q 9650, 8gigs ddr2 dominator ram, 1tb HDD, and a case. Main problem is a board that will support all that. No one has one.
I was wondering if there was anyone on here that might have one laying around and would be willing to part with it to help the guy out. Would like to help him play bf3 as much as i can. If so msg me and i can give you his addy. He lives in michigan.

A word of advice. That Q9650 goes for around 130-150 on the forums. You could probably sell the chip or trade it for a AMD mobo and CPU outright as they are cheaper and will game just fine.
 
Give it more than a day boney! I cant help out except for a bump, but have some patience, the game comes out in over a a month.

Bump, I'm pretty sure you could fine a nice one on ebay for $50-60 ^_^
 
Found the board I pm'd you about in my packed stuff. Still here, I am probably going to try and find a chip to test it out first though.
