I'm currently trying to fix my cousin's computer. She just needs a Socket A motherboard. The tricky part is that she has a Athlon XP-M 2600 so I need something that will allow me to manually adjust the multiplier, otherwise it will default to the lowest multiplier. I know there's a few nForce 2 motherboards that do this, but the sellers on eBay are way overcharging for these boards. If there isn't anyone here that has one available, I think I'm just going to recommend her to do a cheap upgrade for her CPU and motherboard. Thanks for your whatever help you guys can provide. :D
 
I got an Shuttle AN35 ultra with Athlon XP 3000+ and cooler on it. $50 bucks shipped for the board and CPU.

Edit: added picture, funny i just took it out of commission yesterday(was using it as a storage server). The multiplier are unlocked on these old chips. So changing the multiplier up one will change it to an XP 3200+.

I may take you up on that offer. I just have to wait for my uncle to make a decision. $50 is by far the best deal I've seen, especially considering that you're willing to include the CPU and cooler as well. Hopefully I can get a decision out of him today.
 
yah i put some fresh MX-2 on the processor before i took the pic. If you want some ram too let me know.
 
I got a Duron 1.3Ghz (w/ cooler) and an XFX MACH 4 361BS m-ATX mobo (VIA Chipset), board come with manual, driver disk, IDE cables. This used to be my old rig, i dont remember if i can adjust a multi on it (i beleve Durons have locked multies) but i will find out if you are interested. I'll sell all 3 items together for $35 (plus shipping). PM me if interested.

EDit: just found the mobo specs online and it looks like it supports Athlon XP 2600+
but not XP-M 2600+

man that shuttle is a great board. that was my first ever build w/ an athlon 2500 oc'ed to 3200 .i built several of those for people and they are still running.
 
Alrighty, my uncle wants to purchase boogah's motherboard/cpu/cooler combo. Thanks for all of the other replies though. boogah, you should have a pm in a couple of minutes. :D
