Need Advice: LCD monitor with TV tuner

Hello!

Recently me and my wife moved to our new flat (40 sqare meters for 2 rooms and kitchen) and started living together (without parents)...horay.
We are now buying new furniture and stuff like that and we stopped at the TV problem. My wife is using laptop and I am using big computer with 19 inch LCD. We want to buy new LCD TV, but we decided to buy LCD monitor with TV tuner to replace my 19 inch LCD. There is too little space in our flat for more than one big LCD.

And there is the question for TPU members. What model of LCD you would suggest for me. It should have:
- 24-27 inch and not more than that
- full HD 1920 x 1080
- built in TV tuner
- VESA or any other wall mounting system
- HDMI and DVI or two HDMI interfaces
- remote control
- PIP (Picture in Picture) <-- must have
- maybe LED backlight <-- would be nice to have that

Models that I don't like:
Samsung P2770HD and any other new Samsung - because it's not stable at all, it has very fragile stand

Models I'm thinking that are OK:
LG M2762D-PC
LG M2794D-PZ

Any other sugestions? Please help me.

Get a Tv tuner card instead?

I have Leadtek tuner in my computer but it's not solution. I just want to watch TV, without turning my computer on. My computer eats 300W constantly so it's not cheap to watch TV on computer. Any other sugestions?

or, get an lcd tv? you can easily pull off around 30" i would think for $400.
an lcd hdtv IS a monitor with a tv tuner and speakers.
a lot of times their anti-glare is better as well.

seriously. a "monitor with tuner" is a tv. and if it says monitor instead of tv it will only be more expensive.

So the next question is: Does LCD TV give the same picture quality as monitor?
I'm working a lot with programming, so does 27 inch TV allow me to give the same text quality as LCD monitor?

Is there any good 24-27 inch TV. I think for daily use it's the biggest acceptable pixel size with full-HD resolution.

So can you suggest me a 27 inch good TV? On what techlogowy modern TV's are build on. I suppose they don't have TN matrix.

tvs will max at 1080p ... but that's what i use and it's plenty for me. some people need more vertical res but most do not.

and 1080p is 1080p. it will look as good just bigger.

+1 on what digibucc said. Buy a fullHD LCD TV instead and maybe work from further away. The picture will look just as good but bigger.

as far as suggestion i just say look for vizio brand. great price and i've had mine for almost two years no issues. 42"
