Need advice on upgrading from GTX 650 Ti Boost

Hi guys, I'm planning to upgrade my ASUS GTX 650 Ti Boost DirectCU II OC but I'm not quite sure what to do actually. Here's my plan in mind:

Option 1: Sell my current GPU and buy a GTX 760 or a 770 and when the time comes, I'm gonna sell my GTX 760 or 770 and buy a GTX 800 Series.

If Option 1 is good, which one should I choose? A GTX 760? Or a GTX 770? Yes, I did my research about those two GPU's and based on the reviews, both are okay when it comes to Price/Performance. But the problem is, unlike those reviews that I read, the price where I'm from differs. A GTX 760 costs around $302 and a GTX 770 around $404 compared to it's US price of $250 and $350 respectively which is $50 more. So I'm not entirely sure if the Price/Performance on the reviews works on where I'm from. But, if it's basically the same, which one should I get?

Or

Option 2: Keep my current GPU and just wait for the GTX 800 Series.

If Option 2 is better, then why? Will I be at loss when I purchase a GTX 760 or 770 and sell it afterwards to purchase a GTX 800 Series when it arrives?

Will the money that I will lose after selling the GTX 760 or 770 justifiable for about 6-7months? (I'm sorry but English is not my native language so I'm having a hard time explaining this last sentence, I hope someone understands what I mean here.)

And oh, before I forget, I mostly play AA and AAA games at 1920x1080 resolution.

me personally, i'd just wait for the 800 series. Unless the 650Ti is doing so bad that it's really affecting your gameplay.

Well, honestly, I haven't got any problems with my GTX 650 Ti Boost. I'm able to play AC4, BF4, Crysis 3, Tomb Raider at 1080p with decent FPS on max settings but with low AA or mostly FXAA. I don't know, I feel something is still missing. Aww man, I got more confused!

yeah, if you have no trouble right now- do your best and resist the urge. upgrading now and then upgrading a few months later is just unnecessary imo.

If you don't have problems right now, don't upgrade yet. You have a great cpu. If you wait for the 800's you will have more money to spend to get something really good. It is looking like the 800 series will be really really good too judging by the 750ti.

As they both said, if you don't have any issues now, then don't upgrade. Or you can do like I do and find someone looking to get into a gaming PC and give them a good deal on parts that you want to upgrade to help justify it!

Better wait for 860 or 870 (if any) instead of 760/770. I'm not saying the latter is bad but personally I think you better save the money for the 800. Your PSU is up to the task should you go for the 800 at least the mid-end cards and if you have extra budget, adding 8GB of ram couldn't hurt.

The GTX 800 series is slated to come in the second half of 2014. I suggest just hanging in there since you'll always lose some when you buy and sell your stuff (unless the market is in your favor).

There is one more option, your motherboard support sli as i see it. find another 650ti boost and you will have 770 performance.

Similar specs with TS, except using a GTX 660 OC on 1600 x 900 monitor. Im more interested in waiting for the 800 series rather than getting the current 7xx series. Hope the 860/860Ti will be more like a 770/780 in performance :3

If you don;t want to wait the GTX 800 for a greater performance boost then the 750 Ti is an option for you

The 650 Ti is still a good card i ve played 1080p Tomb Raider 2013 at max settings.

Your GPU is almost as fast as a GTX 660! The GTX 770 and up would be the only viable upgrade options and they are expensive. If you want another Boost GPU for SLI you'll
have to buy it used as NVidia no longer makes them (end of life). The GTX 750Ti is only a good upgrade for people coming from A GTX 460 768MB or less.

Wait to see what Maxwell GTX 860's have to offer (not much by what I've read.)
