Need Core 2 Duo Motherboard...

My uncle is getting a comp, which currently we are going for AM2, but we might change to Core 2 Duo. What motherboard that supports Core 2 Duo will most likely support future processors? Like Kentsfield for example? Under or around $200, maybe around $150 or so since he will need to spend more for Core 2 Duo.

you have heard my opinion on this
if you get another mainboard make sure its 965 or 975 #
the old 975s dont support core 2 duo so you have to get a new 1
all 965 support core 2 duo and will support kentsfield

no they arent
it depends on the board you get if its support kentsfield via bios update


so far the 965 chipset is capable of it



i would suggest a gigabyte ds-4
or a asus

well i have heard that 965x will support kentsfield (with a bios update for sure) but it doesnt matter to me my asus p5w dh will anyway !!
