Lets hope it actually runs in 60fps

That camera leaning on drifting was super retarded...

Notice how she said "deepest, most authentic car modification in Need for Speed history", because they still can't compete with something as high quality and modern as Street Legal Racing: Redline.

The way I see it, it's more about the overall package than just the tuning. I'd rather have a game that's actually worth playing than worry about how many modifications the cars have.

SLR:R is unpolished, unoptimized, and full of bugs. The graphics, audio, and handling are also terrible. It's basically a cheaply made "value" game.

Then again, it's what you'd expect from a race game published by Activision.

i dont care what anyone says

I LOVE NFS

"Part of the conversation includes hearing from our PC community that an unlocked frame rate in Need for Speed is a massive priority for you, and we fully agree. To deliver this, we’ve made the decision to move the PC release date to Spring 2016. Our PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release dates will remain the same, starting November 3, 2015 in North America and November 5 worldwide."

I should become a psychic.

How bad is your engine that it takes you 6 months to get a framerate above 30 on hardware an order of magnitude better than consoles.
I was a NFS fan but since MW the series went to utter shit so I wont be holding my breath for this one.

NFS is definetly first car racing game on PC for me(I mean 3d version). I did like Hot pursuit game back in 2009 or 10 not sure dont remember. It was a blast. But I would probably pick this up as well depends on rating from IGN muhahaha

Well, I don't mind waiting till spring 2016 if this means I'll get a NFS game that I'll remember for years and decades and that will work flawlessly at any framerate, even 144fps that I want because of my screen.

U caņ't expect that in one go it would be too easy.

Welcome to the wonderful world of so called "next gen" consoles, where more than ever before PC is held back due to their utter inadequacy.

I played NFS for the first time back in the 90's on the Panasonic 3DO. It was one of the most amazing gaming experiences I ever had and will likely stick with me till I die. lol

NFS has been shit since after their last solid release: Porche Unleashed. I wouldn't mind seeing a good NFS again. Doesn't have to be super realistic, just beauitful graphics and fun handling exotic cars.

Best one was: Need for Speed Underground for Playstation 2.

Original Most Wanted and The Run were prety good actually. Both incredibly memorable games. Most Wanted because of the cut scenes and interesting open world police chases and The Run for race across entire continent, spanning across differen interesting environments.

the run wasnt bad for a one big ass race. the idea was quite ok. but was it 60fps? i noticed stuttering all the time.
we need a remake of porsche unleashed and all titles released before it. nfs - super retro.

NFS:HP2,NFS:U,NFS:U2, all were the best. This reminds me of NFS:U. I can't wait.

I think that's not going to happen for the same reason GOG can't release old NFS games. Car licenses. They were valid for the time games were released, if anyone wants to republish them now, they run into bunch of car license issues and they just can't be bothered to go through all that to re-release an old game from the 90's. Which is a shame, because for me, NFS games from that era were by far the best. So good that after all the time, I still play NFS3 Hot Pursuit here and there. And almost 2 decades have passed since it's release...
