Need For Speed Carbon

I find its only more like a night NFS:MW i also prefer the MW speed interface. and they seem to love reflection eh?

Just brought one from a store.
Still in its case XD

Worst need for speed ever they took out everything that made the game take more than 5 hrs to beat no bounty no drag no nothing this is udder bullshit it took me longer to "acquire" the game then to beat it this is why i dont buy these games anymore because they dont even put $10 worth of effort into it they just try to pump out some crap to make you waste your money
this gets a 3 outa 10 rating all tho the online seems to be much expanded now if this had been a good game like underground 1 or most wanted i might have bought it my recommendation if u really want to play it rent it and save yourself some cash

looks like they put a lot of effort in the box. glad I didnt buy it everyone says it sucks

well thats why "try" before you buy works for me.if i get a "free" version and its a good game with maybe a good multiplayer in it,i will buy it.

incidently i got neverwinter nights 2 yesterday too.

P.S.:Can someone please explain why on earth it is called carbon, when even the title style (neon blue for those that haven't seen it) has nothing to do with carbon? Yeah yeah, carbon valley, I know... don't like that part.

I think its called Carbon because you have to move up the ranks to gain the right to race @ 'Carbon Canyon' :)

i must say that, from my point of view at least, this has the potential of being a rather good game...

if it didnt crash all the goddamn freakin' time, that is...

the graphics are great, and the gameplay is fun, but could use some improvments, but what the fuck is with the constant crashing?

i wish to god EA would stop releasing rushed games that are simply unfinished...

hows neverwinter nights 2 tiger? I'm interested in that game, I expected this outcome from carbon since I heard it was the same as mw and I'm not a fan of mw, best racing game for me is grand turismo.:)

I turns out it's not the worst but they could've made it feel like the muscle cars were accelerating 4 a start! I completed 1/4 of it in an afternoon so I guess it's another game that'll be finished this week-Prey took 8 hrs... What HAS happened to good, long games? Q4 took me AGES to complete, as did Doom 3

yep I feel ya Company of heros is a short sweet game, than relic facked up the online play of it for eveyone... and I'm sure they wont make it anygood, cause RELIC BLOWS!

im actually really enjoying carbon. i "acquired" it on saturday and have been playing it since. i never played Most Wanted so i like the Police Chase feature and the destructable signs and whatnot. i love it because its a step above Underground (cooler cars) and it has sweet graphics if your machine can handle it (im running it on a AthlonXP 2700 with a radeon x850 pro AGP and it runs great). i highly suggest this game if you were a fan of the Underground series. As someone said before, the races are a little easier than previous games, but the bosses are more of a challenge, and it all provides for an entertaining experience.

@chewy,neverwinter nights 2 is a pretty sweet game.my mate was well into nwn and he loves it.he will rip and shred every little bit he can out of nwn2.every little side quest and all.see if you can "aquire" nwn2 to have a deek.

I've been playing the game for 2 evenings now, completed 33%
The game itself is nothing to be amazed about, to me it looks exactly as MW, which I didn't like, the previous Underground series were a lot better.
Total control of body kits, or any aftermarket accessories available.
Most wanted and Carbon they give you the ugliest body kits I'v ever seen in cars, there is no Dyno tuning, which made Underground series unique on it's own way.
Graphics are nothing to be impressed about, reflection on the cars are ridiculous, I have mine turn off, it look just plain bad,
For some reason the brakes of the car are on before you press the gas, it feels like the car is struggling to take off from a stop.
I can keep going on and on, the sad thing is, when the next one comes out I'll stay go and buy it.
I wish EA would go back to the same setup as the underground series, much more fun.

I wish they would combine the fun of the SP game of Porsche Unleashed, with the online fun of Hot Pursuit 2.

i tried this game and i must say i'm completely unimpressed .. the game seems to be NFSMW with new tracks and your stupid wingman.

and couldn't ea find a hotter chick?

i
and couldn't ea find a hotter chick?

they have bad taste, don't bother :D
EA really knows how to transform good games into crap :(, i'm hopping they get some brains before the release of C&C tiberium wars 3 and don't f^ck it up

one thing that really bugged me about nfsmw is when you slam into a concrete pillar at 200mph, nothing happens. NOTHING. not realistic AT ALL!

i want my car to be torn to shreds, etc when it hits stuff. more than just the paint scratching.

i assume the same is still true in carbon as it was in mw.

how do u sell cars .where is it ?

i 100% the career mode. :) last boss was hard! XD

that would be really cool but totally unpractical. we smash into stuff all too often while driving in games, no one wants to pay for repairs (or a new car in the case of smashing into a pillar at 200mph). thats the one thing i disliked about NFS:Porsche Unleashed; the fact that you paid for any damage to ur car after each race (it was also that i was a crappy driver and spent thousands in repairs :ohwell: ). It does add a more realistic feel to a game with realistic crashes and damage, but too much is no good at all.

It's an alright game... beat it in like 3 days... on and off playing here and there. Way too easy... it's harder once you hit tier 3.

I still like underground 2 the best out of the last 4 NFS games...

They need to make underground 2 with cops in it... that would be fun.

and some really big highways, i think race gmaes should be bigger, and with cities far from each other (like san andreas)
