The intention of this thread is to (hopefully) be stickied, so that all people needing help will read this, and know how to ask their questions to get the fastest answers they can.
#1 We arent mind readers. Give us every bit of information you have.
#2 Read the forum rules, and fill the "System specs" section in the 'User CP' - Its at the top left of your screen, in the darker colored bar.
#3 If you noticed any changes leading up to the problem, please tell us! (Strange rattles, a thunderstorm, etc)

With this much information, its easy! We can quickly help you with your problem, and you can get a nice easy fix for your problem.
(For this problem, the answer was a bios setting, and using a 64 bit operating system)
