Need help Win 7

So i recently partitioned my hardrive to install windows 7 alongside windows vista. I have dual boot going, and it seems to give me a lot of headaches right now. It worked fine at first, then i noticed that whenever i loaded windows 7 (tried formatting and then clean install 3 times) it gives me blue screen a few times and if i get lucky, i get into windows 7. The computer that I am doing this one is a Toshiba laptop, or more specifically a Toshiba L305D-S5874. I can load up windows vista just fine and all works well, just not windows 7. Oh and the windows vista it came with is 32 bit home, and the windows 7 is a 64 bit ultimate version.

You formatted just the 7 partition or the whole drive? Same with the clean installs?

I had windows vista, and i used a partition manager to make another partition so i have 2, one with vista and the other with nothing. Then i formatted the nothing and installed windows 7 freshly onto it.

you need to pick up Kill Disk, but before you do that, make sure you have Windows 7 Drivers for Your Laptop meaning from Toshiba , back up the data you want to keep to an external drive or CD-R/DVD-R (programs your gonna have to reinstall to keep it fresh). Use Kill disk to completely wipe the HD (any Partitions on that drive) Install Windows 7, Install Lan/WLAN adapter Driver, get Windows Updates other than Drivers, do that several times to get all updates needed, then Install System drivers, Programs, Tweak system to liking (services a must- use blackviper.com for that). Btw it appears your a Fan of Mobile Fighter G Gundam

had the same problem, turn out my ram, loosening the timing and/or downclocking it help. or maybe your OC is actually not stable and crash with 64-bit os where it use to its full.

You should never have to down-clock anything if it's rated for such speeds/timings; otherwise your not getting what you paid for, It is used mainly to determine which part is f-ing up.

you are not the only one with the bsod on a Toshiba L305D and win 7 64bit.

Thank you so much! i had no clue haha. that was one of my first guesses tho, i was like hmm maybe stupid bios hates it. But never really thought too much of it. Will try this out tomorrow.

What exactly are you reffering to? Are you having some sort of posting issue? I'm very confused and intrigued at the same time.
