hi guyz.. I'm trying to use clockgen.. but cant seem to find the right pll chip?
I'm using a dfi lp dk x38 (i cant find any ICS,IDT) all i found was ITE IT8718f.. is there an update for clockgen? or any alternatives? thanx

overclock through the bios ?

Hit "Delete" when you see the DFI logo screen after you turn your computer on. Thats where you are supost to OC.

actually I've oc my rig to run @ 478 x 9 @ 1,4 volts..(in bios) I was just wondering if I could get higher.. since when I try higher settings the comp just wont boot.. so I was thinking startup at what I have and tweak higher in windows?

Well every chip is different. Could just be hitting an FSB wall. Post a list of all your settings you have set in Genie bios so we can possibly help assist in pushing further.

google setFSB!

you should use SETFSB program in it you can find your PLL because I use DFI too www13.plala.or.jp/setfsb
