Need more advice...

OK, so my terrible luck with motherboards aside, the Foxconn was confirmed faulty by ebuyer(OCUK are still being stupid, I still have the dodgy ASUS in my room) and we got a refund. I'm going for a 975x chipset this time, as it should be good enough for a couple of years. The board I've picked out is this one:

Would it be OK? I've heard DFI make quality boards, and know many of you use them.

seems like a decent board at a decent price. Having two X8 PCIe slots is nice. It's not two X16 but at that price point, it's nice.

Foxconn makes two boards, one of them doesn't support Core 2. Watch out for CPU compatibility. Even if it does, I'd suggest you stick to P35 at least. Because FSB 800/1066 is on a phase-out and FSB 1333 is required for some room for upgrades.

looks like a quality board. if i were into over clocking by the looks of the guys review it can do a very good job of it. the two PCI x16 slots go down to x8 in crossfire - maybe something to consider if you go down that route.

if it was a tenner less i would go for it as it has kentsfield compatibilty so a bit of future proofing as well

hanks, I'll keep the EVGA in mind. But I need it to support 800MHz FSB, as I already have the CPU, and I'm not sure whetehr the eVGA supports it. And the BIOS should be alright, Ionly plan on upping FSB and voltage at first.
