That's a little bit like comparing apples to oranges. With your current board you can't overclock, therefor you would waste money, if you bought a "K" CPU.
A regular i5 3xxx with 4 cores with a clockspeed around 3.5 GHz will do fine - see my first post (i5 3470).
When it comes to GPUs it depends on the resolution you are playing. You current monitor has a really low one, that's why I suggested to get a used FullHD (1920x1080) TFT for around 100€. Combine that with a R9 380 or GTX960 (4 GB variants) and you ll have a nice little gaming system.
