This is a strange problem to be honest.

More or less, there is a new, annoying log entry every 15 seconds in my vista logs about getting a new IP address. Pic below shows this clearly, i cleared the log and then these appeared. More and more spam over time.

I've been suffering the odd BSOD/random crash (even at stock settings) and i'm wondering if this is to blame - i have updated all my network drivers (windows update first, then manually hunting for them) and the problem has not gone away.

The two ACTIVE network cards, are a marvell yukon gigabit card and hamachi. Disabling hamachi doesnt make it go away, so i beleive it is the yukon card.

Does anyone have any ideas what can cause this problem, or how to make it go away?

Is it the hamachi IP that keeps doing it? Or your real one?

unfortunately the logs dont say. I can disable hamachi and the problem continues, so i assume its related to the marvell gigabit.

thanks for that, i shall indeed try that.

seems to have fixed it actually. yay!

Now to see how the latest versions fare... (we've been staying on 1.0.2.1 due to games not working on versions since then, but it has been some time since we stopped updating)

update: on 1.0.2.5 now and games still work.

There ARE errors again, however less of them and more informative. I'll manually set my hamachi IP i think, to get around this.

Yes, setting manual IP's has solved the issue. People can still connect fine (thanks luke) and i am no longer getting spammy messages in the logs.
