So this is how fast the entouch.net speed test was

I am paying for a 16 Mbps line.

off a trusted torrent site downloading a VERY popular torrent. i get maxed at 1.8MB/s

Is this right?? Shouldn't i be getting a tad bit faster downloaded when i could get 1.3 off the 6 Mbps line i had before??

please tell me i am right so i can have the retard cable company guy out here again. he was here today and said it was fine but didn't even check the cable itself just ran a retard speed test online.

1.8 megabytes per second = 18 megabits per second. You are getting .2 mebabytes per second more than your plan. :)

So this is accurate.

well im just ticked because our internet service speed when downhill the last two weeks and this guy doesn't do anything more than i did.

yeah its 14.4Mb youre getting there.... 8bits in a Byte

Erocker says that's right,

twicksisted i dont know what you mean.

16Mbit = 2MByte

There are 8 bits to a byte. You are paying for 16Mbit, which is 2Mbyte. I'd say 1.8MByte is close enough for a torrent.

in Brazil is a shame the internet

Check your Port Forwards on router or connect right to the gateway (aka Modem).
