amd need only keep a few of its old line this to replace the x2 5000+BE

its just the exact same with a higher clock, its still got the lower cache that the x2 5000+BE has

they should try discontinue some of the phenoms and just keep the next phenom AM2+ line that is said to be more energy efficient

they should also keep pne of the higher clocked cpus like the x2 6400+

then have some energy efficient chips, i heard the chips with an E on them clock good and stay cool

next time amd should pump the cpus full of cache, that allways been a propblem for them

The Brisbane is a good processor, however I think they should trash the X2 series in the name of the Fusion Platform and start off with a new processor and stuff without relations to K8 or finally more system cache. AMD needs to smarten up a bit, there's far more to demand for CPUs power rather than keeping pretty pennies. But since there has been a couple of changes for AMD in the past, I am hoping to see them get back on their feet to take on their sky-high competitor.
