Hello, I would like to ask some help.

I wanted to move a hand me down pc to a new case, as the old one was extreamly cramped. I got a Phanteks Eclipse P400A and moved my pc to it today.

It would not react at all first, but I realised I had some mixed up wires and fixed those.

Then it would start up, rgb lights would turn on as well as fans (tho not the ones that came with the case), only to immidiately shut down. Then start again and shut again and so on till I cut the power.

I thought I'd try trouble shooting later and unplugged the pc. Now its later and the same issue happens, only lights wont turn on either.

I'm worried I broke something in the move, but am unsure what it could be.

Any hints to what could cause this? I tried googlin, but what I found seemed to assume it would at least boot up. Mine doesn't even get that far. Displays have no time to react at all, and no boot up sound is heard. Just quiet hrrrr of fans.

Check your wiring again.
Check those MB stand offs... make sure there are no shorts or extra ones.
Try it with one stick of memory.

If that fails... try it with everything out of the case on a non-conductive surface.

Ah yes, of course. Here's a few:

(Unhooked cable is for the usb3 ports, since my motherboard doesn't support them)

I'm also going to see if 95Vipers suggestions help.

that heatsink is vary close to your gpu. I would say when you were moving stuff around it shorted your gpu. though if that's the case then there's a not 0% that it's dead

Is your CPU heatsink touching the GPU?!?
Its not quite touching... but yeah, it's unfortunately close...

Outch, that'd be not great. I've been meaning to replace it anyway, but with the recent availability and prices I've been waiting...

Piece of electrical tape between the heatsink and GPU is a quick easy fix.

I've seen some pretty good cards like the rx 470 and 480 go for $100-$130 on ebay
