Hi all,
Just purchased an ASUS TUF RX 6800 XT. The upgrade has gone well so far up to this point. I use 3 monitors with this PC which I connected to my previous GPU via 2 x DisplayPort and 1 x HDMI. When I swapped in this new GPU, I used the same connections. The new GPU has 3 x DisplayPort and 1 x HDMI and after getting comfortable with the card I decided to switch the third monitor to DisplayPort as well for consistency I suppose.
I cannot get any signal from the outermost DisplayPort. The monitor detects no signal and goes into standby. I switched out the cable and still no signal. I disconnected one of the other DisplayPort cables going to another monitor and still no signal. I've ruled out the cable and the monitor, I've reinstalled drivers (to rule out everything) and the conclusion I'm coming to is the card has a bad DisplayPort output.
Is there something I may have missed that could be causing 1/3 DisplayPorts to not work?
Thanks in advance.
Edit:
CPU: 3700X
Mobo: X570 Aorus Master
Mem: 2 x 8Gb @ 3600Mhz
GPU ASUS TUF RX 6800 XT
SSD: Samsung 970 1Tb
Everything is mostly stock, except for the Memory.
