Ghetto support bracket from a small beard comb I had just lying around that I snipped down to size as I noticed my 6800 was starting to sag, tightened up the pci screw and cut this to size to hold up the opposite end, works a treat :rockout: previously used stacked Lego bricks but can't find any lol was browsing some brackets on Amazon last night and starting at £5 up to £30 for RGB and bells and whistles is just madness, long live ghetto mods

I just shoelaced one of my previous GPUs to the top of the case. Your way is also legit.

it holds it up just fine, straighter than it's been in a while, tbf I have a lot of routine maintenance things I need to do as well as propping up that beefcake GPU, my 2 SATA drives aren't connected, CPU could probably do with a repaste as it's starting to hit 80c under full load in stress tests whereas before it would hover around 76c, clean some of the wires up a bit more and re-sync my RGB fans as the case ones are not in sync with the CPU ones for some reason even though I would swear they were before  1st world gamer issues!

I Love 'jank that works' and other kludgery!
"If it's stupid and it works (reliably), then it isn't stupid."

That said, I would be concerned that the plastic of the comb, will eventually succumb to thermal cycling.
-same way BMW engine bays eventually start to fall apart if you look at 'em funny.

An empty cigarette pack is my favourite improvised GPU support.

The paperboard that the cartons are made from, make great fan ducting, too.
Flip it inside-out, and you get a nice neutral white

Honestly was close to paying £15 for one last night and just thought no, I don't need that ffs  lego bricks looked cool, they were all black and did a good job, the comb however was just like whatever I could find within hands reach and whaddya know? does the same for £0

Mercedes, Land Rover, Jaguar comes to mind too

I had a pack of smokes under my 4090, til i installed the provided bracket

I used a watch canister as a support bracket initially on the far end of my gpu to fit in the tight space just above the drive trays. problem is the provided bracket was too short to reach the elevation and is only able to support the other end of the gpu which is sitting on top of the psu. bought this one from amazon and installed it yesterday. https://www.amazon.ca/Graphics-Supp...e-Aluminum/dp/B08C2CTPV6?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1 . works fine but got me worried since the gpu have some awkward dimensions. installed just way past the middle fan. it should be balanced enough avoid sagging.
