Microsoft and Bethesda have just released the very first quest for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Available for download at Xbox Live Markeplace, The Orrey quest (9.83 MB, 150 points) allows you to rebuild the Orrery, an ancient dwarven machine, by helping the Mages Guild of Cyrodiil.

first quest released hmm? thats wierd my copy of oblivion came with 100+ a couple weeks ago.

oblivion is a great game, but very repetitive...all the obilvions look the same, and it takes the same method to close them all.

150 points is $1.50 i believe, for PC version, the xbox mods are like $2.00 usually from what i hear.

The TES4: oblivion construction set was released for free download with the game. Therefore there will eventually be mods you can download for free 3rd party, however these will probably be much less "professional" and will most likely contain many bugs, poor dialogue and narration and unbalanced rewards.

however some people out there really do take elderscrolls modding with passion, as back in the day when i played morrowind there was a full revamp mod in the making which planned to add all the previous TES games into one giant freeform saga.
