If newegg ships my stuff to my house and I'm not there at the moment, will they leave it or where will the put my orders? They said it takes 24-48 hours to process an 2 days to ship. I'm not gonna be here on thursday, so where will they leave it if no ones home? I live in Arizona BTW.

I ordered the following:

AMD Athlon 64 3200+
JetWay 939GT4-SLI-G
GeIL Ultra 2x512mb DDR 400
2x 80GB Western Digital 3GB/s HDD

UV Reactive ATA133 cables
4-pin molex splitter cable

im not sure becuase i use a P.O. box but i think you can call UPS or FedEx and they will tell you what they do.

K. Thanks. I just checked my order status, and it's on Step 3. I hope it won't take 4 days to get here, on the 22nd I have to be w/ my dad (surgery).

first off-love that mobo and cpu. they will treat you well.

as far as shipping, when they shipped to my home in san diego, they left a notice when i wasn't there the first time, which i signed and left on the door for when they came by the next day.

2 weeks ago, i didn't want to wait, so i wrote a little note and left it on every door the ups man could have thought was the front door. the note was more or less : dear ups,
please leave package at door.: then i signed it. came home, my mobo was at the door.

on the other side, write a note saying for them not to leave it. you can always pick it up the night it was attempted to be delivered at the local center. but these are ups, not just newegg.

They usually dont leave it. They leave a notice saying they tried and will return 2 more times. or you can go pick it up at their office(UPS). If ur scared have it sent 2 day and you will get it Wed for sure.

Hm...I'm tracking the order, and it should be here tomorrow or wednesday. I'm not gonna be here tomorrow (haircut and hospital) and on wednesday, I'm just staying home, sleeping. I hope it gets here tomorrow when I'm home. I really can't wait. This is like the longest 2-3 days in my life.

It probably wont get there tomorrow, but tonight if you look at the tracking # it will tell you for sure what day they will deliver.

Ok, actually, wednesday will be fine so I'll get it when I'm actually here. Are you working on your Ultra mod right now Mark?

I still need screws and stand offs for installation of the motherboard, PCI/PCIe, hard drives, DVD Rom, and floppy.

I've seen screw kits around at Compusa and other computer-oriented stores (NOT Best Buy lol). Most of the time the Fedex/UPS guy just leaves a box at my doorstep, and I don't have to worry about a thing. Oh yeah and newegg's also gotten really good about shipping...they use the "stick stuff in one big box" policy now .

Lol, they do have it at my CompUSA here, but it's always sold out. They have one at radioshack, and I can walk, but it's like 115 degrees (F) outside, and it makes me lazy to go out. I might get driven tomorrow though to get some screws.
