Hello

I would like to discuss about Next Gen Graphics card designs from Partners (Asus, Gigabyte, Msi etc)
1. What do you like to see in the next gen gpu?
2. What do you want gone in the next gen gpu?
3. What do you like to see improved from previous gen?

everybody wants to see more perfomance for less heat and money...

My concern at least with the Nvidia side is that we will get great increases for RTRT but rasterization performance will be another meh increase maybe 30-40% over the 2080 ti.

My concern with AMD is they will compete with the 2080ti but that's it. leaving Nvidia likely Top and second tier card unchallenged for another generation of gpu.

The last node shrink we went from a 980 ti to a 1080 ti and got 60% gains which was pretty nice I don't expect that again but I'm still hopeful.

moar everything, less moolah, hehehe :D

A return to dual slot cards instead of 2.5 or 3 slot high end and mid range cards, just because Multi GPU seems to be going (or gone) analogous to DVD. There are still plenty of expansion card choices for PCIe. As an example it would seem the new budget B550 boards have the old 887 Audio codec which is subpar to 1220 and some of them have no WIFI, which means an expansion card would be perfect in that scenario to solve that and a slew of other potential hurdles.

Not really sure the point of the question. Isn't it always "more for less" or some variation thereof?

I don't really want much in my next card. Just the following:

More performance for less money.
More performance with less power consumption (IE, greater efficiency).
More performance with less heat generation (IE, greater efficiency).
Absolutely NO noise! No coil whine. No fan noise. No ticking. No complaining.
More performance, smaller physical card size (one slot, shorter length, low profile)
100% foreword and backward compatibility with current, past and future generation PCIe interface and graphics rendering protocols (regardless of task; games, CAD/CAE, etc.).
Audiophile quality 7.1 sound.
8K/UHD TV/DVR support.
USB-C Alt Mode w/DisplayPort support for at least 4 8K/UHD monitors (stutter-free operation, of course).
Free lifetime upgrades.
Lifetime warranty.

That's all.

I personally just want to see MSI keep the quality build and performance! Love MSI and other think coming from gtx 980 ref then I had founders Ed evga gtx 1070 then same evga gtx 1070 FTW After that got my top msi gtx 1080 gaming x and now rtx msi trio x 2080 and looking on this all I want less rgb is just little to much as gpus look strange with all this lights would love to see as much minimum lights possible as for me was amazing the msi 1080 gaming x have nicely done the leds they are perfect not to much not to less just right!
I also love my trusted brand MSI and I wish grow and all the best and that MSI keep the outstanding quality and performance!
Beast gpu’s!

I would like for zero fan to be less annoying while spinning up every second needlessly, even causing 22 watt spikes on the memory buffers.
insead of just spinning up less aggressively one time only and stay that way, why does it have to spin up every second, sounding like a car engine.

Better software support from team red for sure

Like to see AMD release some thing that finally forces nVidia lowers their crazy prices.

Ray Tracing Nano card to replace R9, Vega 56 Nano. This means the return of HBM.

i wish high end gpu arent so long... they sag hard.

I don't know how since RT performance is vastly dependent on fp+int

I'd like dlss further developed cause it was really, really good in control and wolfenstein and performance gains were just massive.amd to provide a dlss-esque technique of their own.
I'd like AIBs to offer their top cooling solutions on lower tier cards, like if a 2060 had a trio cooler. That'd be pretty crazy on a 160W card as far as noise is concerned.

Honestly I'm tired of the whole graphics cards scene in general. The low, medium and high budget brackets are now substitute terms for expensive, kidney donation and first born child.

things do become expensive as our stagnant wages slowly rise.
There will be a point where it will be so expensive, people stop buying
