Did this game ever get even one patch? I saw a few months ago that the sales were over 2 million units so it's not like the Square Enix/ Platinum couldn't afford to patch it. Well, anyway, it's on my buy list waiting on a big sale.

it's perfectly fine with FAR nonetheless ... not that i saw a lot of bug (the one reported at last) when i played it with or without FAR ...

was wondering the same .... specially coming from someone that is a fan of SMT... weirder than a SMT game ... is really hard for most people ... (i don't count in ... to me SMT are perfectly "normal" )

that aside .... Okami/MGS/SotC/DMC are "normal" AF :ohwell: creative but not too weird ( "" are used because "normal" does not really exist ;) there is only degrees of weirdness. )

it's not what make it great ... it's a lot of other things that make it great, wait .... awesome ... rather...

SMT still is a very 'focused' game in style and gameplay. The weirdness to me comes down to the gameplay, mostly.

Even Okami; while its a very specific type of gameplay, it still has focus. I know the developer of Nier wanted to aim for a diversity in gameplay and that is probably exactly what's holding me back. It screws up my immersion or something :D

If you enjoyed DMC and Bayonetta then i'm sure you'll like the gameplay in Nier as they are near enough identical..just main difference is open world and not "stage" completion and tons more resources to collect.
There has been 2-3 patches since release i believe?
