Nostalgic GPU battles!!!

800 x 600 16bit limit D: D:

Banshee, the MX/SE/LE of old :D

Still remember the R300 series by ATi, shamed the nVidia's GeForce 4 and FX series of cards :D

And speaking of FX, The GeForce FX 5800 "DustBuster" Ultra :D

Graphics cards I have owned over the years:

A bunch of S3 GPUs
Riva TNT2 AGP
GeForce2 MX200 AGP
GeForce MX4000 AGP
Radeon 9600 XT AGP
GeForce 6600GT 128MB AGP
Radeon X1950Pro 256MB AGP (my last ATI card, due to bad experiences)
GeForce 8800GTS G92 512MB
GeForce GTX 260 Core 216
GeForce GTX 470
GeForce GTX 670

Of course, I would love to show photos and benchmarks of the older cards, but unfortunately I either sold them on or took them to a computer recycling plant (as well as most the older components required to run them). :ohwell:

Used to run Doom 3 on ATI Rage 8 Mb card, lowest settings, 640X480, can not believe myself now.

How's this for an old "GPU"... or should I say... PPU... "Picture Processing Unit"

That blew me away! PICTURE PROCESSING UNIT!!!

ATi called it VPU back then (Visual Processing Unit)
