the notebook is an Hp Pavillion Gaming 15-dk1044la

Intel® Core™ i5-10300H
NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1660 Ti MaxQ
Chipset Intel HM470

Here are the specs but the site is in spanish: FULL SPECS

EDIT: I found drivers for other notebook model from hp, but cpu and chipset (i5-10300H Intel HM470) are the same, is this useful? DRIVERS ,which ones are absolutely necessary from the list?

I would advise against a clean install of Windows. If this were a self-built PC (and I had a good backup), then fine. But not a factory built laptop. There surely will be many proprietary settings and features on it that would be very difficult - at best - to reinstall.

If me, I would simply clean it up. Make sure it is fully updated then run full security scans. Run a secondary scan with a secondary scanner such as Malwarebytes Free. Run Windows Disk Cleanup (or, if already installed, CCleaner) to clean out the clutter.

If you really want to start over, check the manual and do a factory restore. This will (at least in theory) ensure all the correct drivers are installed with the restore. Just understand a restore will most likely wipe out any personal files too. So if there are any photos, school papers, downloaded programs, tunes, videos, etc. he does not want to lose, make sure a good backup is done first.

Hi,
Driver downloads are usually under support links
Just enter your snid or sn# and search for drivers and bios/ manuals and you'll find the main apps you need I can't use that site it's not in my language and that model seems exclusive to your region.

Hell windows 11 will usually install your drivers for you.

This app can export and import all the drivers that you need even the existing microsoft drivers it's portable so no installer just extract all to a flash drive and export the drivers to it
Then when on the clean install just connect the flash drive and import the file already there
Very easy to use.
Download Double Driver - MajorGeeks

This should be your device
As said below they can detect you system needs.

Another option is to use the 'Let HP detect your product'. I used it on an old 6th gen Dell notebook & it worked very well.

And here's an english link! I just changed cl-es to us-en in Thrashzone's link.

Thank you very much, guys. i dont know why I couldn't find them yesterday. Could you now tell me which drivers from the list are strictly necessary? I want to avoid installing any unnecessary utilities, under "Chipset" there are like 8 different thing to download

I might be missing it, but which OS & OS version are you using?

Hi,
Drivers are different than crapware included from the manufacture.
So with that in mind that driver app I posted will get all the drivers you need plus all ms drivers if you want them included in one click import install.
Last item is just sound/ webcam/ microphone/ touchpad apps which are listed at the HP site.

drivers that are marked by default are the only that i need? this app looks really nice actually, im gonna save a backup and download the drivers from the site just in case

Look at the descriptions, versions, & dates of the drivers. Some descriptions are repeated, but have a later version & release date. You only really need the latest from HP if you want to download them. Also consider renaming them with a useful name. I recall in the past HP driver downloads were something like s123456.exe, which is far from helpful.

Hi,
Yep but like I said you can select all and get them all.
They do take up a little space though lol

Majority of drivers can be adjusted through windows settings
Just take notes of the user interface apps you actually use now and look them up on HP site

Out of all the acer crapware apps that were installed before I only have one installed lol it's for the microphone true sound or something like that.

The GPU driver in my screenshot is for the Intel GPU built into the CPU. You'll want that driver.
You are correct that you want the 1660Ti mobile driver from Nvidia. It might be slightly different than the desktop version, but you can select 16xxTi notebook from their manual drop-down list.

Hi,
Nvclean will get you the gpu driver you need
All you need is the onboard graphics driver which should be in the drivers package already it might also include the 1660 as well.
