NVCleanstall Error

In the terminal window opened by NVCleanstall while building the install file - it says that "Everything is OK" and followed with the Finished line. Then an NVCleanstall Error window opens up with an Exception from HRESULT which is 0x80040202.

Should I trust the installer it created or not and how to stop the exception from happening?

PC can't be upgraded to windows 11.

Ameliorated using AME Wizard on October 2023.

Hmm I haven't used AME myself so not sure if that's the issue and all computers can run Windows 11 even getting around MS' silly upgrade requirements can be done.

I used the newest version of NVCleanstall on Windows 11 23H2 fulled updated last week with my RTX 4070 without issues and I use it on my T480 laptop with MX150 no issues either.

But I do not have any Windows 10 machines anymore so I cannot say with Windows 10.

Happens every time? Did you disable any services manually (or through script)?

I just ran two tests. Tried to build from an installed NVCleanstall: failed. Tried to build from a not installed NVCleanstall: passed. So I just need to not install it and just run it from my download directory. Thanks for the help.

To answer the first question: Yes, it happens every time I run the installed NVCleanstall. Doesn't happen if I just run it from the downloaded exe.
To answer the second question: I don't remember manually disabling any services. I know AME Wizard disabled some.

He's not installing, he's building a reduced-size exe installer that he can save/take to other machines
