Hey guys. I have a weird issue going on with nvflash. I decided to follow this guide to remove the uefi from my palit 750ti stormx oc because my motherboard will not post with the card plugged in. Apparently, the bios can only work with gpus with vbios and not uefi.
Once I was done modding the backup of my vbios, I tried to flash it with nvflash. However, once I press Y to confirm flash, nothing shows up and after a few seconds a new line appears to enter commands. Task manager shows that there are processes of cmd running in the background but I see none. Note that nvflash works perfectly fine with the original backup of the bios for some reason.
Version 5.692 said nvflash drivers are being used by another process when I made a reattempt right after attmepting to flash the modded bios. However, when I flash the stock bios after making an attempt to flash the modded bios, it works just fine.
I tried looking up for solutions but none have worked for me. Very few people have faced this issue as well and none of them have a straightforward solution. I tried manually disabling, different versions of nvflash and different commands.
I do not understand what is happening. Can someone help me out here please? I would really like to get this to work.
Attached is the zip of the stock and modded vbios in case anyone would like to take a look at it.
Many thanks in advance.
