Connect your GPU to another monitor or a TV set
Connect your GPU to the same monitor with a different cable type - DP/HDMI

It makes more sense to wait for the next driver update.
Alternatively you may send an email to Nvidia as feedback about the problem.
Getting a fresh high quality cable this is also a good idea.

No more ideas, do something.

Don't update every driver, don't update the drivers at all honestly unless there is a specific thing which the new driver enables.

I'd advise the late cycle drivers (the ones with high numbers after the decimal), those are the most stable normally. Find one that works and don't fiddle with it.

After changing the cable to HDMI + HDMI everything works, the driver was installed correctly, you can change the resolution, but I can't change it to 165 hz, so I changed to my old Display port cable and I could adjust the resolution manually, the ability to enter the control panel was a success

when i forced 165khz on my monitor i see only such resolutions additionally my cursor goes crazy and changes the font

my question is what is the problem with a defective cable? Graphics Card ?

Nvidia f'd up the drivers, rollback to 497.29. I see similar errors popping on Nvidia forums for desktop GPUs as well as laptops.

The hint was this:

Nvidia NV-Failsafe listed instead of correct Display ID.

Edit.
From latest driver - 511.79:
Windows 10/11 Issues
  • The native resolution for a DVI or HDMI display may not be available from the display settings if the display contains an invalid EDID. [3502752]

How come nvidia has not been able to release working drivers for my card for 2 months?
