i pick this card up for 20 bucks. my ? is there is a power plug on it and i need to know do i need to hook it up?

nope there isnt, no 6600 PCIe card had one, but you can flash it to an 8pipe 6600 easy enough. Good find for 20 bucks. Make its a normal 6600 and you should double your power, right now its comparbile to a 6200 128bit card which is about equal to a 9600pro

the 6600 LE was unlockable, and hasnt been made in a long time either. They should all be based on the NV43 A3 core not the A4 that is locked, but you might get unlucky

wow, looks like your right. was thinking 6200's were the only cards that could flash to 6600

nope, the 6600Le was an OEM product released in the price segment the 6200 would later fill.

I know alot about Nvidia product history, its sorta a hobby of mine lol

well today i was going to try opening the 4 pipes after doing alot of reading finding out how to. and low and behold look what i find.
