Hello,
My wife's GTX 275 is giving her crap[Fragmenting after an hour of use, fans still spinning but meh], and I am at another crossroads here. I currently have Twin HD 5870 from Sapphire Tech. And she has an XFX GTX 275. Welcome to GPU merry-go-round;
Before--
Rig 1: 2xHD 5870s
Rig 2: GTX 275
After--
Sell 1 HD 5870(~350), and RMA, then sell 1 GTX 275(~150), Sell 1 Active Display port Adapter(~70 bucks)
Rig 1: 2xGTX 480
Rig 2: HD 5870
And spend another 300-400 bucks. However here's the catch, I run 3 1080 24' monitors, and I am fairly fond of eyefinity in games. So my question is how have your experiences been with Nvidia's version of Eyefinity?\
I am not afraid of heat or noise, but the SLI capability of the GTX 480, starts to really impress me. Plus CUDA and all that. Just something to consider.
Second option is to buy her a GTX 465, and RMA/Sell the GTX 275(PhsyX card mebebe?)
