OCZ Announces Platinum PC-3700 with 2-3-3 timings. OCZ Technology Group, a worldwide leader in innovative, ultra-high performance and high reliability memory, is pleased to announce the availability of EL DDR PC-3700 Platinum Series modules.

OCZ PC-3700 EL DDR memory will be available in 512MB modules along with 1GB Dual Channel kits. In addition, PC-3700 EL DDR modules will include platinum mirrored heatspreaders and are rated for CL 2-3-3-8 operations at 2.8 volts.

“Building on our success with low latency memory, OCZ now has the fastest CAS 2 memory available on the market,” said Dr. Michael Schuette, Director of Technology Development at OCZ Technology. “In recent months, users would have to choose between having a low CAS latency but also corresponding low operating frequency, or a high CAS latency, with a higher operating frequency. Neither option was especially attractive. Now users can have the best of both worlds: Low CAS latency and a high operating frequency.”

OCZ PC3700 EL DDR memory is backed by OCZ’s industry-renowned support and lifetime warranty service.

yeah, maybe...

but pc3700 ddr-sdram runs at 233/466mhz!
timings do only mean something if you specify at which speed you are running your modules...
