The OCZ Vector SSD is based on a brand-new Indilinx Barefoot 3 controller that is a 100% in-house development by OCZ. We see outstanding steady state performance and excellent real-life results from this new drive that will strengthen OCZ's position in the SSD market.

Awesome review, W1zzard!

After seeing this price, i actually got really interested. Previously, the SSD i was targeting for my build was the 256GB Vertex 4. Here in Brazil, the Vertex 4 costs R$740. With the taxes (60% of the product), the Vector would cost R$ 894... The difference is of 75 dollars (R$155). For the performance increase, i ask myself if would be worth it.

I like your unique spin on fill testing. Great review

Great review W1zz, I really enjoy all the ways you test these SSD's, Now just for a 840 pro review :D

I bought two of these hours before the review was posted... so glad that it got the TPU and W1zzard seal of approval!
