ok ppls, while installing the vendetta 2 cooler, i accidentally broke one of the legs so i was looking for another way to use it. After scouring google i found that i could use a Xigmatek backplate to put the cooler in place after which i came to this product:
http://www.i-tech.com.au/products/30...ack_Plate.aspx
I wish to ask whether it will be compatible with my OCZ Vendetta 2 cooler. On the webpage, it says "All Intel LGA775: HDT-S963, HDT-S1283, RED SCORPION-S1283" and since the OCZ Vendetta 2 is a "remake" of the HDT S1283 i thought it would work.
Quote from OCZ site on the original vendetta product page: "Using a distinctive, highly efficient heat pipe and fin design developed by Xigmatek, combined with a low-noise fan, the Vendetta.." Any help on this topic would be greatly appreciated
