What is a 4890 going for? that is what a 460 is worth. Same performance. Same heat. I regretted selling my 4890 and getting a 460 FTW
One of the biggest mistakes I ever made. I should know better than listen to internet suggestions.
Shouldn't be the same you must have a bottle neck some place a gtx 460 FTW should kill a 4890. Look at this review and it is not done with at FTW 460 gtx but a base clocked 460 gtx at 675 core yours its at 850 core and it kills a 6890. So post your full specs something is wrong. Granted in some tests they are close but a 4890 has very little overclocking room and a base 460 gtx has massive overclocking room and in this review the 4890 is using very mature drivers and the 460 gtx is not mature drivers at all so currently the performance difference would be even more massive.

and here is a overclocked 460 gtx both against a 4890 http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/MSI/GeForce_GTX_460_Cyclone_OC_1_GB/22.html
