[FS][US] Old Servers

My work place has 2 old servers. Don't know what the heck the cpu inside is, looks like a P4. One was used a old telephone system or something. Don't know about the other. Its a huge flat beidge server 4u case.

Each has 2 redundant PSU's and some removable lockable HDD trays (SCSI?).

Anybody want to re-use it please pm me.

Company is expecting $50 + shipping.

you might want to emphasize to your company, the "real" value of these. If they've been lying around for 6 months taking up space, and not being used for anything other than collecting dust, I'd venture to say any offer, other than setting a relatively high price, since that thing might weigh a good amount, shipping would kill the deal. Maybe something like 40 - 50 shipped, might get someone in need's attention. Just a suggestion

that would actually be quite good for doing a mod on the case using it as a download box or dedicated server for games

maybe see what else is inside it

it probly needs a graphics card and some more ram

p4 arent that bad for normal stuff if its a P4 you could allways swap the cpu out?

Don't think anyone at work would know the specs of these boxes. But I will try to get, I know for sure one was used as telephone system and other one has some scsi disks. I will check with my sys admin and post tomorrow.

I think the box + scsi drives + reduntant PSUs and monitoring LCD at the front of the case is worth more than $30
