Sorry to hear that guess Nvidia took care of it as usual, so the hardware has no 2nd market value ... Iltoo bad, was hoping it could work.

opened up gpuz extracted vbios, used pascal tdp unlocker to unlock voltage/power slider, tried to flash tried 4 different nvflashes and this one aswell, amd i doing something wrong? i did manage to flash my 2080 vbios like 5 years ago and everything works nicely since then (80w to 90w +shunt) but now i cant seem to even just flash the same vbios back anyone got any ideas=?

Ok i give it a try again and again....(i failed with all my cmp cards)

GTX650 to GT1030 (GK107) bios mod just for fun.
successfully flashed but i got error code 43 (and a little distorted display) so i want to flash it back
--index=0 -6 gk107.rom
i got detecting GPU failed but it is in the --list at 0 index so the command is good i think
How can i force it to flash it back?

with Ch341a i replaced the bios with the original one. Still not working.... card is bricked... I think the gt1030 using different voltage/clocks that harmed the card.

Everytime I try, EEPROM protection lock is failing. Why is that?

latest omgvflash
i used the -6 switch, and i have backup rom, and a ch314a programmer if needed.

I want to hack my P104-100 card to Asus GTX1080 turbo.
The PCB is 99% the same, VRAM is the same (micron GDDR5X), GPU is not 100% the same. (GP104 but different rev)
i disabled the card in the device manager, i used the --protectoff switch.
same error with nvflashk

I had the same issue , tried every possible compatible bios form database but I think the tool can let us cross flash across vendors and that worked as I flashed p104 bioses without any issue but 1080 or 1070 bios can't go through for may be obvious reasons of being misused to flash these mining cards to GTX /rtx counterparts. I don't have a lot of hope with pcix 4 1.1 limitation on p104 100 that is massively affecting game performance despite patched drivers.

Can i flash my ventus 2x 4070 to become a zotac solid 5070?

Is this trolling? Please tell me it is.

This thread needs a lock. It's long outlived its usefulness, especially since the OP deleted their account and left.

The tool is out of date and never really worked well to begin with, with the OP gone we're all but assured there will be no further developments here.

I think he deleted his account after comments like this. Did you ever try it out? Personally I made no bad experience with this tool. It work like expected and promoted. More the End User, or the "wannabe-user" like this guy with his dumbass question is the problem.
Maybe he had deleted his account because NVIDIA don't liked his tool ^^

This is an unauthorized modification of a proprietary tool with the sole purpose of circumventing hardware security, which can be used for GPU counterfeiting. What do you think happened? None of us know the actual truth, but rationally, it's not too hard to guess. My claim that the tool doesn't work well is because it does not work well. It's unable to circumvent many security measures put in place and it's completely powerless against the Falcon hardware security system. The nvflash tool's limitations are just one of the many obstacles put in place.

And frankly, if the hypothesis they left because of "haters" (I wouldn't be one of them) held water, at this point? That'd be a service to society. Just look at the AMD GPU subforum to see that they only ever talk about how to fix counterfeit or modified RX 580 GPUs over there. The only way that mess can be fixed now is by the ravages of time: once AMD completely stops Polaris support and it gets too hard to counterfeit them as anything - after all, we still get fake cards with old Fermi GPUs, and it's only started to die down a little now as the last drivers made available are over 7 years old.

From reading comments from the creator of this version, I'm pretty sure they knew that it would be crossing a line with Nvidia to try to circumvent Falcon.

At least for the 4090, this and NVFlashK were really useful for people stuck with the newer 301 die somewhat arbitrarily limited to 1.07v.

Both versions served a useful purpose. Some people seem to expect a lot for free.

Yeah, it had a few niche use cases, I suppose, even though a lot of people were expecting a complete bypass nvflash that ignored security completely.

The tool worked for me, I flashed my 4080S and was able to get the card to run a max of 400w. It made no difference to performance and I have since went back to the stock bios. I did have to send the card off to an electronics engineer to replace some destroyed caps/power regulators after, but the card still works to this day. It was never a great overclocker.

Edit: I found some old pics of the power to prove it:

I just realized i posted this in the wrong place, sorry

Does anyone know that Is it possible to flash a third party vbios (Modified VBIOS) to RTX 3070 now?

ahhahaha... that tool never did anything good because the problem was never flashing. I see you're still stuck at the starting point :D did anyone show anything interesting during my absence?
