What is the best application for me to use for recording on-screen happenings? It does not matter whether it is free or payable. It must also accept webcam recordings on-screen and such. There are like a BILLION programs to choose, and Xsplit, fraps and Dxtory does not seem to be doing its job since they only record in-game stuff... and i don't need that..

Give snagit or camtasia a try. I think they'll record just about everything, and there is a free trial period to try it out first. They've made great products in the past.
