Onboard Sound help

Hi all,
i'v got a Gigabyte GA-P35C-DS3R and i like to record off internet radio and more importantly record from external sources (e.g. my vinyl decks) the problem is, if i use software like Record Anything, it will start recording then after like 5 seconds or somthing Stereo Mix will mute, and microphone, line in and basically all recording inputs do the same and unless i sit there unmuting it all the time it won't work. My motherboard uses the Realtek "ALC 889A" audio chipset, but the strange thing is i used to have an Abit SG-95 and that used the Realtek ALC883 codec and that uses basicly the same driver software and did the exact same thing.

Has anyone else experienced this, and do you know how to stop this?

thanks :toast:

Im not sure, i have the same motherboard, but i dont do any recording. Try reinstalling all of your chipset drivers, or use different recording software and see what you get.
