onboard sound quality?

I have a new DFI lp dk x48 l2trs and I haven't tested the on board sound yet but I was wondering how the onboard sound for this motherboard is.

I'm not to sure about the ADI AD1988B. I thought the Realtek was a bit more higher pitched than the SB Live. Why not just try it and found out for your self.. Other reason to try it your self is that you hear differently than other people + people like different things.
