Opera 9.50 is out since yesterday.

Funny thing though I remember somewhere in march 2008 a topic that stated "Opera fist to achieve 100% Acid3 test!". My install only got 83/100 though.

The new skin looks like crap, anyway I use windows native.

More render screen visible compared to old versions, and I see improvement in sites that were rendered somewhat buggy before.

Seems a little slower to start now though. It may be just because (vista) (super)prefetch didnt just yet kick in.

I didn't see your post, but I thought "Hmmm, why not see about updating Opera today?" and BAM! Opera 9.50 is out! I've been using development versions for months now, and it's been steadily getting more and more buggy, as I just upgrade the install, rather than starting fresh, and deleting everything to do with Opera, but then again, I needed a reinstall of XP.

It's running quite nicely for me under XP and Vista, I love the new skin (the old one was boring, and I could never be bothered to find the skin I liked every time I upgraded it), and the synchronisation feature seems to work faster now.

Oh, and teh Acid3 test has been passed, infact, they acheived over 100% (yeah, the Acid test team decided to make it go further than 100%), but I'm guessing they're still trying to work the bugs out of the code, so I would expect Acid3 testing in the stable version to be 100% in a few updates. Still, it works great, and I've seen no down-sides to it yet.

I like the new interface with the native skin, makes things look much more seamless.
No downsides so far, but acid3 test isnt 100%!

You know the little bar that was hidden on the left of the screen that opened a tab for favourites etc. It seems to have disappered. Any1 know how to activate it again on this version???

Apart from that, it seems to open a lot quicker, few bugs fixed I've noticed too. Opera FTW!

Yes, the new "default" skin is... not the best
but you can download many good skins from My.Opera.Com :D

yup I know thanks.. but after 1 hour of using the native windows mode it realy looks great.
That's not the important part anyway.:)
Works great, Opera is an underapreciated.
