Yeah I'm really psyched, I got lucky and got one of th CABYEs. From what I've heard this thing even at the stock 1.8ghz is as fast as my 3500 at the stock 2.2ghz. So even at just 2.5ghz it is blasingly fast. I'm gonna set a modest goal of 2.8ghz. 3ghz or even 3.2ghz would be great though.:D

The CAB2E I got will do 2.5 at the moment, although I am having a problem as I am already at say 275HTT and have clocked down the RAM so it runs at approx 232mhz, but for some reason when I clock it down further the PC will not boot.....I think I need to play around with the timings or something but it is a bit annoying because I am not sure what is causing the problem. It could be that 2.5 is the limit for this one anyway of course, so its still not bad for a £80 processor.....I guess I need to spend more time on it although interestingly this processor at 2.5gig and ram at 232 actualyl gives better 3dmark benchmakrs than my Athlon 4000 at 2.7gig with 225 on the RAM.....weird huh?

hmm i think your motherboard hit the ceiling at 275.... in fact i'm surprised you even got that far. is it prime stable? Asus aren't exactly known for overclocking. in fact i don't even think that A8N has adjustments for HT multiplier and chipset voltage. both are required for a decent overclock.
