original BIOS needed

Dear all,

I'm new here in this forum and I mainly registered to it, because I would need the original BIOS of this Card HIS RX 460 Slim-iCooler OC 2GB . Unfortunately I found only the one of the iCooler here on TPU. The HIS cards have both the same speeds so I don't know if I can use the BIOS listed on TPU(https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/?did=1002-67EF-1787-A460) or if I should ask if someone has it?

I got this card by an auction, I installed it on my PC, but I never was able to get the card properly recognized by Windows and only after a few weeks I realized that it has maybe a modified BIOS on it, I avoid to shout at myself... :)

anyway what do you guys think, what should or what can I do?

thank you in advance! :)

Welome, im sure you will find help with your bios search and related questions. Please do as @eidairaman1 suggested and fill in your system specifications, and then just allow for members who are knowledgeable in this area to come across your thread.

Regards

You'll find the option for filling out your specs in your account settings ifni recall correctly.i think its here

my specs?
I have various :) . Windows machines, W10 and W7 all 64bit, with AMD CPUs and of course chipsets, with Intel CPUs and their chipsets, the same onse with various Linux. On Motherboards with UEFI BIOS and/or legacy BIOS.
I tried to make it run on both Windows versions, and not on the Linux since it is anyway AMD GPU it would be pretty useless.
but if you really want that I list all of them or at least one just let me know :)

What exactly is the problem? What do you mean by properly recognized by Windows? Can't install drivers? I need to see a GPU-Z screenshot. Run it and click the camera icon in the upper right corner to save a screenshot. Then upload the saved screenshot in a post. Also download and run the ASUS Radeon MemoryInfo tool and tell me what it says. There's 2 different BIOSes in the database. One supports Elpida and the other supports Hynix. So it's important to know which brand of memory your card has before thinking about flashing another BIOS on it.

@eidairaman1 the maotherboard has the latest update since 7 or 8 years I guess.
the card sat properly in 3 systems already, it is not the first card I use in my life ;)

@MrGenius in the device-manager it is shown without the name, just plug&play or something like that. When I try to install the driver it gives me always error message at the end. I will install the card in one of the PCs tomorrow when I'm back in my office and send you all what you requested.
