Benchmark Scores bench...mark? i do leave mark on bench sometime, to remember which one is the most comfortable. :o
Its clearly a case by case basis as we all have different systems and play different games. Ive found keep ing up with nvidia drivers hasnt been detrimental for my uses.

Because this is true (the first part) it makes that other 'best driver' thread useless. Weve already seen what was predicited in that every dick, tom, and jane *thinks they have a driver problem and posts.
yep totally, well, i had drivers issue so i rolled back until i got none, without personal testing: it's impossible to know the overall best, since there is no best as per user basis.

tho with Nvidia : mandatory rollback is mandatory (still a case per case but it's a little more common, from personal experience and point of view, since i saw more driver needing a rollback on green side than red .... and since i am using a Nv GPU i find that to be quite a shame  )

Benchmark Scores Faster than yours... I'd bet on it. :)

and ive been golden and had nvidia gpus since i got rod of the 295x2 a couple years back. I check for drivers every couple of months (because forget NVE), and get the latest. :)

(joke)well you are a proof that older driver are the best :D if you check every couple of month ahahahaha, you know "if it isn't broken, why change it" ;) (joke)

and i am the proof that Nvidia can be crappy with their driver (well they are ... what else) i just tried the latest driver right now: a pack of CTD during various games and a TDR during a 3DMark run....
i had more rollback between my 980 and 1070 than in 8 gen of AMD gpu's

i had zero issues from my HD 3870 all the way to the R9 290 with the latest AMD driver on the other hand (i got my 980 just before the infamous "ZOMG the latest AMD driver burned my card" driver thought if i hadn't, that would have been my 1st)

it's a personal opinion ofc, but for me the tendency that everyone take for a truth is reversed, Nv driver are pathetic and AMD are fine  (except for multi GPU ... tho SLI CFX are useless anyway )

Yeah, lol...

Im not saying to upgrade to each iteration, that is plain silly. But it makes complete sense to install the latest first. If it doesnt work, roll back.

Overall, nvidia drivers have been much more trouble free than my experiences with amd drivers. :)

obviously you wouldn't see any if the SLI is not used  that's what i mean about SLI being useless and not worth the hassle, most of the time the master work alone and the slave just suck some watts idling by ;) but i did actually write that for SLI nvidia had better support than for CFX (albeit most of the time not exploited ) i also thought SLI was fine ... when i had my 2 GTX 580 Matrix, since then ... never had a dual GPU setup anymore.

now ... time to put an end to that, the OP will find which driver is the most stable by himself as we recommended (different user different result )

SLI scaling varies from game to game.. but i will say multiple cards work best when you dont really need them.. i dont care how they scale.. all games exceed my requirements at 1440.. but do i see problems.. nope none at all..

my cards idle with the fans off (as all decent cards should) and use next to no power..

but to get back to the OPs question.. being as i dont ever see problems.. to me they all work ( even in SLI mode ) i recon its a daft question based more on an individuals imagination than anything else.. could be my imagination aint active enough.. :)
