265 is not to bad for stock volts

ya, i suppose i better increase them now,if it works:pimp:

dam it, the voltages still dont work

hopefully it does i dont see why it wont.how high does the voltage go up to?

1.700000,but if i increase the memlock ram value above 1600, i can increase the cpu overclocking above 265.

so the voltae wont let you set it to 1.45v?

err,im only setting it at 1.025000, should i be setting it to 1.45000?

ohh, maybe thats why it shuts down?

lol it works now, i was only using 1.025000 when i shud of been using 1.45

Can you get over 265 now?

ya im on 290, might go up to 300

ill have to stick in somewhere between 290-295

300 x14 will gives you 4200Mhz, most likely too much for you system.

im going to set copy how this guy does it
but i dont have ai tweaker, only when i go into jumperfree configuration i can only change the cpu frequency. What should i change it too, its now at 224.
i have a ZALMAN CNPS 9700 NT cooler, and kingston 1600x2 ram

I know this thread is a few years old but its the first one on the list in google search and it helped me out so it is still very relevant today so no ignorant "necro" flames please.

Having researched quite a bit and seeing that no one is giving any good advice on this setup I figured I'd write up my findings for people who just want to beef up this combo and not go full geek.

This is for a 3.85 Mhz OC.

To clarify a few things my memory is:

Corsair CMX8GX3M2A1600C9
8GB (2x 4GB) XMS Memory kit 1600MHz, 9-9-9-24, 1.65V

I have an aftermarket cooler.

I am using the onboard for my second monitor and PCIe for my first monitor so I included my OC settings for those 2 cards in this, you can ignore them if you just want to OC the processor and use software for your cards.

Del key to get into BIOS.

Go to JumperFree Configuration and change the following:

CPU/HT Ref Clock 275 Mhz
GPU Overclock 1024

CPU Ratio & Voltage
x14.0 2800 Mhz
Turbo Disabled
CPU/NB freq. 8.00x
CPU OverVoltage 1.55v
VDDNB 1.3v

Memory
Memclock Value 1467 Mhz
TCL 9 clk
TRCD 9 clk
TRP 9 clk
TRAS 24 clk

Memory OverVoltage 1.65v

Esc out go to CPU Configuration and change the following:

Cool n Quiet Disabled
C1E Disabled

Esc out go to Internal Graphics
GPU Overclock 1024

Yes every system is different even if all the components are the same make but this will get you quickly in the ballpark of where you want to be. From here you can try to push up your CPU/HT Ref Clock 20 286 and you can probably lower your voltage, my system wouldn't let me do either of those.

Good luck and God bless,
E
