i cant overclock from bios. my old pc is Compaq Presario 5900T
i have added new

CPU Cooler (Thermeltake Polo12 )
Video Card (Geforce 5200
Rams (704 SDRAM)
Power (thermeltake 460 watt )

i must overclock my CPU how can i do that ?

P3's can run on three FSB modes, 66/100/133MHz. check what type of ram you have first before you overclock as this my limit what speeds you can over clock to. if you are running PC133 then you should be able to reach 733MHz without any problems.

Some motherboards have more fsb options however ;)

if i open SetFSB it says ''Please Copy GIVEIO.sys into setfsb folder''

Do as it says... and read basic overclocking guides? ;)

Google is your friend... aswell as the search button. :)

Because the KT133a is an AXP chipset.

Which type of MB do you have? If you have manual see page for Overclocking. Also, you shouldn't have a problem find it on internet as a PDF file :)
Some motherboards allowed overclocking only with jumpers on the MB ;)

hey post a ss of your motherboard tab out of cpuz maybe you can reflash the bios but its a long shot

hehe i'm going to watch this thread.

i'm picking up a P3 dual processor 733mhz dell poweredge server in a few weeks and want to do a bit of o/c'ing. same sort of pc133 ram too (1gb).

good luck with the o/c'ing!

You don't have a manual?

As he stated in the topic start, it's a Compaq machine. They don't come with overclocking options nor a manual for the mainboard.

You will run into similar problems: Dell won't help you overlock. Add to that that workstation/server class boards often have less options to do so as well.
